Responsibilities

Anis Jaafary is pursuing a dual degree Oxford / Centrale Lyon in General Engineering and Environmental Change Management, with a focus on bridging the gap between technical expertise in climate change and strategic decision-making. His academic interests centre on the challenges of decarbonisation, energy security and market integration across the European Union, as well as in LDCs.

Alongside his studies, he has gained experience at Bpifrance Le Lab, the think tank of Bpifrance, where he contributed to research on how French society is adapting to climate change. He also worked at Engie as a strategic analyst on energy demand and decarbonisation, developing expertise in energy demand modelling, biomethane production, European energy sovereignty and electric vehicle deployment. At EDF, he contributed to projects on heat pump deployment in France, as well as the electrification of the maritime and agricultural sectors.

Anis is also interested in climate finance as a key lever to drive mitigation, adaptation and compensation efforts in Least Developed Countries.

As an incoming consultant at BCG, he aims to support institutions and governments in accelerating the energy transition and enabling societies to thrive in a rapidly changing world.
