Responsibilities
Brida holds an MSc in electrical engineering for smart grids and buildings from Grenoble INP and a PhD in electrical engineering from KU Leuven. She is currently working as a research and development professional in the Water and Energy Transition Unit of the Flemish Institute for Technological Research (VITO). Her activities focus on leveraging recent technological advancements in smart grid and renewable energy projects.
Her work creates impact by increasing energy efficiency and access, and by reducing energy poverty through demand-side management and cost-effective renewable energy solutions.
