Responsibilities
Chipo Peveling is part of the Trainee Trøndelag scheme and works in the Regional Development section of the Trøndelag County administration in Norway. With a background in chemical and energy engineering, her engagement in regional development began through PhD research at NTNU on circular bioeconomy, focusing on wood resource mapping. In her current role, she works on climate and energy policy with projects spanning biogas development, fair transition and industrial decarbonisation through the Green Industrial Initiative Trøndelag. She has represented the regional authority in EU Horizon projects and contributed to an EU Regional Innovation Valley application on clean energy technologies. As a Young Energy Ambassador, she is motivated to bridge the gap between EU policy and regional implementation.
