This session explores how Europe’s transition towards more sustainable buildings and cities must combine energy efficiency with accessibility for all. REN+HOMES focuses on participatory approaches to engage residents. AccesS presents a standardised framework for assessing accessibility in the built environment. INCLUSIVESPACES highlights co-creation for inclusive, climate-neutral spaces, while BuildON introduces tools to improve building performance and cost-effectiveness.
