Description
Transitioning to clean, accessible, and secure energy sources is no longer a choice — it is a necessity. To achieve this shift, fresh ideas, creative solutions, and a shared willingness to change are essential. For this reason, Çukurova University’s Centre for Environmental Research (ÇESAM) is organising a special two-day event as part of the European Union Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW).
EUSEW draws attention to sustainable energy through events held across the globe, and this year’s theme is 'Powering a Fair and Competitive Green Transition.' By becoming part of this global network, we aim to increase our international visibility and build impactful connections with similar initiatives worldwide.
Through this event, we intend to showcase the latest research, technological advancements, real-world applications, and innovative ideas related to the climate crisis and sustainable energy. At the same time, we aim to raise public awareness and strengthen our collective capacity to take action in this critical area.
The event will feature a panel discussion that brings together stakeholders from diverse sectors to explore Adana’s current landscape and future opportunities in sustainable energy. In addition, an exhibition will highlight innovative projects developed by youth organisations, university and high school students, as well as initiatives led by universities and industry partners.
By the conclusion of this event, we hope all participants will recognise that a more sustainable, liveable, and climate-friendly future for Adana is within reach — and that, together, we can make it a reality.
