Responsibilities
A chemical engineer by training, Giulia Marzetti has crafted a portfolio career as a management consultant, project manager and policy officer, working on electrification of transport, energy storage and city-wide decarbonisation. She previously worked at the European Commission as Project and Policy Officer, fostering a green transition in key sectors such as energy, transport and manufacturing. Now a Manager at a leading consulting firm, Giulia supports the private and public sector on their decarbonisation needs.
Throughout her career, Giulia has been a delegate at several UNFCCC Conference of Parties and part of the official youth constituency to the UNFCCC (YOUNGO).
She is a European Climate Pact Ambassador and also an IPCC expert reviewer on the 'Special Report on Climate Change and Cities'.
A podcaster in her spare time, Giulia’s unique expertise combines the private sector, government and NGOs to bring everyone on board to act on climate change and the energy transition.
