Responsibilities
Kaneli works as an EU Policy Adviser at Finnish Energy, an organisation representing Finnish energy companies. Over the past two years, she has worked at the heart of EU energy policies in Brussels. She holds a degree in social science with a major in Contemporary History and has also studied EU policies, sustainable development, and environmental science.
Her active involvement in volunteer work, including co-founding an EU mentor programme for Finns in Brussels, has helped her build a strong network among Finnish stakeholders, particularly young people.
With a solid background in EU affairs, Kaneli brings a broad policy perspective to her work. Inspired by her own experience of how meaningful engagement can ease climate anxiety, she is committed to empowering others to feel heard and to play an active role in shaping a more sustainable future.
