Responsibilities
Marco Peretto is a policy engineer currently working at the Institute for European Energy and Climate Policy (IEECP). During his bachelor’s studies, he graduated in Industrial Engineering and Management from the University of Groningen, developing an academic background in both engineering and business fields. He subsequently pursued his master’s studies at Delft University of Technology, specialising in Engineering and Policy Analysis with a focus on entrepreneurship. His master’s thesis examined energy poverty and the modelling of policies aimed at addressing it, both in EU and non-EU countries. Following this, he began working at IEECP as a policy researcher focusing on energy poverty, contributing to various EU-funded projects while pursuing a PhD at Utrecht University.
