Responsibilities
Muhammed Ekici is a specialist in energy, sustainability, and data, based in Denmark. He works across the construction and infrastructure sector at NCC and the public sector at the Copenhagen Municipality, focusing on energy data, digitalisation, and applied AI.
With a background in software and construction and currently pursuing a degree in energy management, he analyses large datasets to generate insights into energy consumption, CO₂ emissions and performance, supporting the transition to efficient and low-carbon buildings across Denmark and the EU.
Alongside his work, Muhammed engages in NGO initiatives, supporting employment for under-represented women and participating in climate-focused collaborations. He has also founded an energy business delivering renewable energy solutions for residential buildings, contributing to a greener and more sustainable Europe.
