There is a particular kind of energy you feel when ideas leave meeting rooms and screens, and take shape in conversations, as people meet and exchange. That is exactly the atmosphere the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) Energy Fair creates every year. You can now submit your proposal to join with a stand

As one of the core parts of EUSEW, the Energy Fair is more than an opportunity to showcase your work. It is a platform where projects, technologies and people come together to turn their ambition for clean energy into action.

On 9-11 June 2026 in Brussels, the Energy Fair will once again take place in parallel with the EUSEW Policy Conference (call for proposing a policy session open until 26 January 2026 - deadline extended), offering an experience dedicated to discovery. For EUSEW 2026, the Energy Fair will be hosted entirely at the Charlemagne building and will welcome approximately 30 stands, ensuring strong visibility and proximity to the Policy Conference. Applications to host a stand close on 12 March 2026.

Why host a stand at the Energy Fair?

The Energy Fair provides a unique opportunity to present your work to the community shaping Europe’s clean energy future. Hosting a stand will allow organisations like yours to share their vision and share how their projects contribute to a clean, secure and competitive Energy Union.

In an increasingly digital world, the Energy Fair brings people together face to face. While EUSEW policy sessions can be followed online, the Energy Fair is designed for onsite participation, encouraging in-person conversations that often lead to lasting collaborations.

The Energy Fair values approaches that spark dialogue and invite participants to explore how solutions can be scaled, replicated or adapted across Europe through demonstrations, mini-pitches or interactive formats for example.

Successful applicants benefit from logistic support from EUSEW’s dedicated event and technical teams. This allows hosts to focus on what matters most: telling their story and building connections.

During EUSEW 2025 edition, over 2 000 people visited the Energy Fair. Among the stands, the EasyPro’s stand focused on the everyday reality of universities trying to meet climate targets and on how practical support through energy performance contracting can turn plans into action.

Nearby, the BUILD UP stand brought together voices from research, engineering, digital innovation and communication, showing how improving Europe’s buildings is a shared challenge that no single actor can solve alone.

At the EPB Center and Euroheat & Power stand, the discussion centred systems and standards, from making EU building rules work in practice to rethinking how cities are heated and cooled, reminding visitors that Europe’s clean energy transition is built through steady cooperation - across projects, sectors and people.

Who should attend or apply?

The Energy Fair is open to all onsite EUSEW participants and welcomes exhibitors from a wide range of stakeholder groups including:

  • SMEs and start-ups;
  • Industry and professional associations;
  • Networks of national, regional and local authorities;
  • Consumer and citizens’ organisations;
  • Youth associations; and
  • Researchers, policymakers, and energy practitioners.

The diversity of actors is one of the Energy Fair’s strengths. It reflects the reality of Europe’s clean energy transition: progress happens when different perspectives meet and work together.

How to attract people to your stand and get them hooked?

Standing out at the Energy Fair is less about competing for attention and more about creating moments that people will remember. With around 30 stands selected, each exhibitor is already part of a carefully selected group of organisations shaping Europe’s clean energy transition.

Visitors will move through the space with limited time, deciding where to stop, who to interact with and which conversations to have. What makes the difference is a stand that feels approachable, engaging, and clear in its purpose. The goal is simple: to create a meaningful moment that stays with people after the Fair.

Below, we share ideas on how to make the most of your presence and truly stand out among the selected stands:

  1. Tell one clear and human story

    Instead of presenting every detail, focus on a single narrative. Showcase the challenge you set out to address, why it matters, and how your project makes a difference. A clear story helps visitors quickly understand your purpose and opens the door to deeper conversation.

  2. Design your stand for interaction and not observation

    An open and welcoming setup encourages people to step closer and ask questions. Use visuals as conversation starters and leave space for dialogue.

  3. Create a hands-on experience

    Give visitors something they can touch, test, or actively take part in. Whether it is a simple tool, a short quiz, a demonstration, or a practical exercise, using hands and senses helps turn abstract concepts into concrete understanding and makes your project easier to remember.

  4. Let people speak for the project

    Team members who can share personal experiences, lessons learned, or unexpected challenges give the project a human face and help build trust.

  5. Create moments that invite people to stay

    Short live demonstrations, interactive tests or mini-pitches draw people in. These moments create natural opportunities for discussion and allow visitors to engage with your work for more than a quick glance.

Mark your calendar

The call to apply for hosting a stand at the Energy Fair is now open. For organisations ready to share their work, exchange ideas and connect with the wider clean energy community, this is a moment not to miss.

Because Europe’s clean energy transition is not built in isolation. It is shaped through conversations and connections. The EUSEW Energy Fair is where many of those connections begin.
