As EUSEW marks its 20th edition, and it's right around the corner, #EUSEW2026 Digital Ambassador Marine Cornelis dedicated to us the most recent episode of her Energ'Ethic podcast, going behind the scenes of how European energy policy is communicated.
This time around she spoke with Ewelina Hartstein, who leads external communication at the Directorate-General for Energy and helps shape EUSEW itself, about who EU energy policy speaks to, how to reach beyond the already convinced, and why affordability must sit alongside clean, secure and competitive energy. The conversation also reflects a growing institutional shift: energy moving from a commodity to a right.
