Responsibilities
Olivian Savin is a PhD-qualified energy engineer and currently serves as Technical Manager in the aggregation of all types of energy generation technologies and ancillary services, contributing to grid security and stability. He previously worked as a Research Engineer in storage hydropower, focusing on both mechanical and electrical degradation of equipment. He has also served as an advisor for photovoltaic energy start-ups and as Regulatory Manager for an energy supplier and producer company.
He is the Executive Director of Future Energy Leaders Romania, part of the World Energy Council – an international community dedicated to educating, professionalising, and engaging young professionals in energy policy. With a strong technical background, adaptability, and a passion for sustainability, he brings a global, innovative perspective to the energy transition.
In recognition of his impact in both technical and advocacy roles within the sector, he was featured in Forbes 30 Under 30 Romania.
