Responsibilities
Stephanie Elisabeth Wolf is a chemical engineer and researcher specialising in hydrogen production via high-temperature electrolysis. She works at the German Aerospace Center (DLR), Institute of Thermodynamics, where she leads research on solid oxide and proton-conducting electrolysis systems and manages international, multidisciplinary projects.
She earned her Doctorate degree at Forschungszentrum Jülich and gained international experience as a visiting scientist in France. Her work advances efficient hydrogen technologies, strengthens links between research and industry and drives the scale-up of clean hydrogen solutions to support Europe’s energy transition, industrial decarbonisation and long-term climate neutrality objectives.
