Energy Communities and PNRR: an opportunity for the small Calabrian municipalities

The event, Energy Day "Energy Communities and PNRR: an opportunity for small Calabrian Municipalities", is presented as an information meeting, absolutely free, aimed at illustrating to small municipalities and citizens, the legal, contractual and economic profiles linked to a topic that is very topical today, that of Renewable Energy Communities.

In particular, during the discussion, the most recent measures that in Italy with the PNRR have been adopted by the legislator will be explained, to favor the promotion and dissemination of CERs, especially in the most internal and disadvantaged areas. In fact, the focus on the active and essential role that local authorities are called to play will be significant. There is common ground between the local authority and the energy community. On the one hand, the entity is called to pursue the public interest and the promotion of the common good.

On the other hand, energy communities have objectives and a legal nature that make them similar to the interests of the institution. In this sense, the tool of the energy communities is combined with the aims of a local authority and lends itself to being a useful tool for innovative action for sustainability policies, in terms of efficiency and energy transition. The promotion of energy communities for a local authority can also be the means to implement the principle of subsidiarity in policies to support local associations and the third sector.
