Deskrizzjoni

In a world with an increasing scarcity of resources (soil, water, energy, clean air, etc.) and a growing demand for agricultural products, both in terms of quantity and quality and with an increasing demand, resource efficiency and sustainability become primary goals in agriculture.
Energy efficiency consumes fewer resources, which translates into greater sustainability of farms, saves costs, improves profitability and increases market competitiveness. A key aspect of the commitment to renewable energies in the countryside is that they depend on elements that can be found in the same environment itself: air, sun, currents of water, and wind.
This event will provide tools to boost energy efficiency in agriculture and improve business competitiveness, foster public-private cooperation and generate green jobs.
The event will provide information of interest to the different actors on the European funding programmes: Interreg, LIFE, Erasmus and Next Generation EU.
Success stories of European projects will be included.
The session will have a classic structure of individual presentations to provide each participant with enough time for their intervention. Nevertheless, to make the event more dynamic, we will use the Slido platform to encourage audience participation. With a focus on the younger audience, quizzes will be launched and surveys will also be displayed.
