I support Sustainable - For a conscious community (Sostengo il Sostenibile: Per una comunità consapevole)

The conference Supporting the Sustainable (Sostengo il Sostenibile) - For a conscious community, organized by UnaCasaDiVetro SB s.r.l in collaboration with the Department of philosophy, social sciences, humanities and education – University of Perugia in Narni, the Municipality of Narni, ElleÒ edizioni and Sociallogo s.r.l., focuses on communities as protagonists of the necessary paradigm shift to face and outline a sustainable future not only from an energy point of view but also from an ethical and social point of view. The community itself, as the main actor in the management of resources intended as a common good and the subject responsible for controlling consumption and production processes, must trace future paths of sustainability and conscious growth. It is necessary that communities acquire the knowledge of their capabilities and the skills to direct their energies, meant in their broadest conception, at the service of their own well-being. A community's awareness of its own resources and needs allows for a fair and redistributed management of profits with repercussions on the entire social and productive fabric. Widespread energy production is part of that virtuous circle that fuels sustainable and conscious growth.

The conference addresses these issues with an interdisciplinary gaze aimed at shedding light on the interconnections between social relations, the economy and energy resources.
