Description
Living conditions during the period of martial law, caused by military attacks by the Russian Federation on the energy and communal structures of the country, drastically changed the priority of professions and Ukrainians' assessment of their future!
The Pokrov settlement community, like many others, acutely felt the need to reform the energy industry, careful use of energy sources, and the creation of conditions for energy independence.
The community has always made great efforts to raise energy and environmental awareness among its residents.
And I am sure that for the successful implementation of the European integration course, it is necessary to start training specialists in technical specialties who will design modern energy-efficient housing using the latest technologies, build it and operate it efficiently. This will make the towns and cities of Ukraine ecological, will allow to reduce the consumption of energy resources and reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
Our youth, who found themselves in the vortex of the military state, are now consciously thinking about the importance of choosing a future profession.
And the task of the community is to help graduates take the right step towards self-realization.
The Pokrov community with the support of the private company EDS Ukraine (city of Dnipro) is starting the creation of the "Festival of Important Professions" educational program, where real professionals, specialists who have confidently gone through the path of their personal growth, who have polished their knowledge and experience, based on implemented ideas and developed solutions , will introduce school graduates into the professions necessary for the reconstruction of the state in the post-war period, form ranks of young personnel.
Such a training program will give the opportunity to future graduates of schools who have already planned their choice or are just choosing their future profession, to think, to reformat the vision of the prospects for the development of the state and their own well-being, to independently assess the conjuncture of the chosen specialties and the further demand for them!
It is already clear how important professions in the field of energy, construction and housing and communal services are.
These are exactly the three "whales" that prevent Ukraine from drowning in problems caused by Russian aggression and large-scale destruction now, in the period of martial law! On which the post-war reconstruction of villages, cities, communities, Ukraine as a whole will be supported!
We want to make this clear to young people, to help them realize their choice, to "see" themselves in the profession, to believe in their abilities, to feel their potential!
The Pokrovsk community, together with the EDS Ukraine company, is organizing an online course for a future energy specialist for the Day of Sustainable Energy 2023.
During the week, EDS Ukraine specialists will conduct a virtual tour of the profession, testing, survey, quiz, remote visit to production facilities, "Open Day" at the best institution of higher technical education of Ukraine "National Technical University "Dniprovsk Polytechnic".
The purpose of the event is to shake up the public, give school graduates an opportunity to understand their importance, dive into the field of energy, feel the complexities of the profession and imagine themselves as future leaders of the energy industry.
Our slogan this year:
"Choosing a profession today - building an energy-independent Ukraine tomorrow!"
