Sustainable energy: innovation and good practices in the Venetian area

The lagoon and the historic center of the city of Venice are characterized by the extreme delicacy of the environment in which the needs of the lagoon and urban ecosystem and those of the production system, which is largely based on tourism, must be reconciled. Hence the reason that drives public administrations, companies and associations to study and implement solutions with low energy and environmental impact. During the conference, the experiences and programs to make lagoon navigation more ecological with the electric power supply of boats will be illustrated. There will also be evidence from associations that in recent years have carried out recovery programs for the islands in the Venice lagoon with a strong focus on energy sustainability.
