Responsibilities
Ela is an energy policy enthusiast and a passionate advocate for youth empowerment in the energy transition. As a member of YOUNGO, she has steered youth engagement on energy-related themes at COP28. She is currently leading the group’s energy-related work as the Energy Contact Point in preparation for COP29. Having recently earned her master’s degree in politics and technology, she focused her academic pursuits on EU energy politics and the energy trilemma, with a particular emphasis on European energy security. She is currently applying and expanding her knowledge as a trainee at Austria’s largest energy provider.
