Highlight 16

EUSEW took place on 11-13 June 2024 in a hybrid format, in Brussels and online. It comprises a high-level Policy Conference, the EUSEW Awards, and the fifth European Youth Energy Day as well as opportunities to forge connections with the EUSEW community at the Energy Fair.

Highlight 2022 - 7

The European Sustainable Energy Awards recognise outstanding individuals and projects for their innovation and efforts in energy efficiency and renewables. The winners were announced during the Awards Ceremony on 11 June 2024.

European Youth Energy Day

The fifth European Youth Energy Day took place during EUSEW 2024 and gave young people aged 18-34 the opportunity to share their vision for Europe’s energy future.

Energy Fair

The Energy Fair is the perfect complement to the high-level Policy Conference. It provides the opportunity for participants and stakeholders to exchange ideas on policies and best practices, and is a chance to lay the foundations for future cooperation.

More than 100 Sustainable Energy Days took place around the world from March to June 2024, organised by public and private organisations. These events are the perfect opportunity to engage with local communities and other green changemakers throughout Europe and beyond.

European Youth Energy Day

For the fifth edition of the European Youth Energy Day, the second cohort of Young Energy Ambassadors took part in a closed-door session to identify recommendations for the next Commissioner for Energy. The day also featured intergenerational dialogue to foster collaboration among generations.
