European Sustainable Energy Week 2025: Commission opens applications to host a policy session

Commission opens applications to host a policy session

The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW), returns for its 19th edition on 10 - 12 June 2025 in Brussels and online. Today, we launch the call for applications to host a policy session at EUSEW 2025.

The event will focus on the ‘Clean Industrial Deal’ and the role of EU energy policy in advancing a clean, competitive, and just transition. Policy sessions take place in person and online, bringing together European industry representatives, researchers, policymakers, public institutions, and energy organisations.

EUSEW is EU’s largest annual event on renewables and energy efficiency and more than 2 200 participants attended in person last year, with a further 8 000 who followed the event online. Hosting a policy session at EUSEW therefore allows organisations to actively engage at the forefront of key policy debates, showcase their contribution to the energy transition and benefit from participating in the well-established high-level conference.

An information session covering this year’s priorities and selection criteria, including ‘how to host a policy session’ is being organised on 14 November 2024, 11.00 - 12.30 (CET), by the Directorate-General for Energy and the European Climate, Infrastructure and Environment Executive Agency.
