Description
To reach the European targets in Italy, it will be necessary to install between 70 and 85 GW of new renewable power between now and 2030. A clear change in the pace of investments is therefore essential: compared to 2022, they will have to more than triple.
Such an impressive infrastructural development cannot fail to pass through a new approach with local communities and, more generally, with stakeholders. The energy sector must "bring people on board" in the challenge of decarbonisation, leaving behind the nimby phenomenon which has too often slowed down, if not hampered, the development of renewables.
This central issue will be addressed and discussed with the top managers of energy operators in the XV Annual OIR Workshop.
After the presentation of the Annual Report, the debate is divided into two round tables:
1 - The first is dedicated to strategies for involving stakeholders in the development of RES projects. For example: crowdfunding, renewable energy communities and CSV.
2 - The second, dedicated to how the strategies of operators active in renewables are changing following the pandemic first and then the energy crisis.
