Responsibilities
Bart is a project engineer at RWE, one of Europe’s leading energy producers, where he takes part in the Energy Transformation Graduate Programme. In this role, he works on projects that accelerate the clean energy transition and improve system flexibility. Through the Energietalenten programme, an initiative connecting students with energy companies, he gave guest lectures to inspire careers in the energy sector. He is from the Netherlands and holds a master’s in energy science and a bachelor’s in science, business & innovation. In previous roles, he contributed to research on long-duration storage, grid flexibility, and advised households facing energy poverty on energy savings.
