In the context of the REPowerEU plan to accelerate the clean energy transition and increase Europe’s energy independence, the annual event is an opportunity to meet stakeholders promoting energy efficiency and renewable energies, learn about successful policies, and inspire innovation towards meeting the EU’s energy and climate goals.
Along with being considered best-in-class for their contribution to a sustainable energy future, winners and finalists receive added visibility for their work. A professional film crew visits the finalists to create a promotional video of their work, and their profiles are promoted on the EUSEW communication channels, as well as being included in a press package sent to pan-EU and local media outlets.
