Seven steps to empower your EUSEW 2024 experience

Seven steps to empower your EUSEW 2024 experience

The biggest annual event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use in Europe is here! The three-day conference has something for everyone, including seasoned professionals and those who are new to the world of clean energy.

Whether you will be participating in Brussels or logging in from afar, this is your guide to making the most out of the European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) 2024.

Start with these seven steps

  1. Plan your schedule: the online platform lets you select the sessions to you want to attend, so you can add them to your agenda. There is so much to choose from! For instance, begin your day on 11 June with a discussion on decarbonising energy-intensive industries, and conclude it with a session on balancing nature protection with the deployment of renewables, ensuring win-win opportunities. On 12 June, join the ManagEnergy Talk featuring Clover Hogan, a 24-year-old climate activist and executive director of Force of Nature. Mechthild Wörsdörfer, Deputy Director-General at DG Energy, takes the stage on 13 June to discuss the EU’s priorities for increasing the development of renewable energy. Links to these and all the other sessions are included in the programme. Remember to also check the lineup of the list of more than 350 speakers.
  2. Meet people: use the platform’s networking tool to connect with over 3 000 fellow participants. Use the filters to identify participants who share your field of interest and expertise. Remember to update your profile, which is public and visible to all other participants.
  3. Start a discussion: invite other participants to join your virtual ‘room’ for a discussion. This is particularly useful for online participants who want to mingle and network.
  4. Check out the exhibits: if you are in Brussels, do not miss the Energy Fair to see the latest innovations and solutions up close. To visit the exhibition, register with the onsite option. If you have already registered, check your participation status in my profile.
  5. Celebrate the winners: be a part of the EUSEW Awards Ceremony on 11 June (10.30 CEST). Join this session to applaud the outstanding individuals and projects recognised for their innovation.
  6. Get local: keep an eye out for a Sustainable Energy Day happening near you. From exhibitions, meetings, competitions, conferences, and workshops, this is a chance to make a difference in your community.
  7. Find solutions: this year, there are four sessions on Energy Solutions offering insights into renewable energy sources, energy efficiency in municipalities, small to medium-sized enterprises, and the future of energy efficiency.

Remember to extend the conversation beyond the conference. Share your experiences and insights within your networks and stay connected with the global sustainable energy community.
