About the EUSEW Awards

The European Sustainable Energy Awards (EUSEW Awards) recognise and celebrate the people, projects, and initiatives that advance Europe’s transition to clean energy. These awards highlight achievements that contribute to the EU’s Clean Industrial Deal and encourage others to adopt best practices in building a clean energy future. Finalists are selected by a high-level jury, and winners are decided by a public vote in the three categories.

The Awards competition highlights new and innovative ways to shape Europe’s energy future and culminates with the Awards ceremony at the Policy Conference.

The EUSEW Awards 2026 allowed applications or nominations in three categories:

  • SMEs Driving Energy Efficiency: honouring Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) that have developed and deployed innovative business or financing models to advance energy efficiency solutions, notably in buildings and industry.
  • Local Energy Action: showcasing grassroots solutions for a clean energy future.
  • Women in Energy: recognising women making an exceptional impact in the energy sector.
