DHC-Ready Buildings: Energy Efficiency & Digitalisation

District heating networks are among the sustainable ways to distribute renewable heat. However, the integration of buildings into these networks poses significant challenges, particularly in terms of energy efficiency and performance.  

This webinar aims to delve into the benefits of implementing digital solutions at the building and energy district level to enhance the energy performance of buildings and discuss the necessity and complexities of preparing buildings to connect to new generation district heating systems, with a focus on leveraging digitalisation. State-of-the-art research and current policy aspects referring to the energy efficiency of the building stock will be featured in this session. 

Additionally, representatives from three EU-funded projects (DigiBUILD, BuildON and SRI-ENACT) will present innovative approaches and digital solutions for building's smart readiness & efficiency and district heating optimisation.
