Description
The MOVE GREEN project, launched in September 2021, is a pilot model of circular labor migration in the renewable energy and green economy sectors, implemented by FAMSI in collaboration with AN^MAR and CLANER. It is one of 48 initiatives funded by the MPF, managed by the ICMPD and aims to promote circular labor mobility aligned with the New Pact on Asylum and Migration and the EU Talent Partnership.
The project has facilitated collaboration between Andalusia and northern Morocco, focusing on training young Moroccans in renewable energy, creating green jobs and fostering public-private partnerships.
The final seminar will gather around 100 participants, including international experts, to evaluate cooperation strategies in the Mediterranean and promote circular migration in the renewable energy sector. This seminar emphasises sustainable resource use and migration governance, benefiting both host and origin territories.
