About the EUSEW 2026 Policy Conference
The European Sustainable Energy Week (EUSEW) Policy Conference is Europe’s biggest event dedicated to renewables and efficient energy use. The 20th edition of the Policy Conference will take place in a hybrid format, both in Brussels and online on 9-11 June 2026, gathering policymakers, innovators and energy stakeholders to discuss innovations and the future of clean energy in Europe.

The Policy Conference is at the heart of EUSEW. Featuring dynamic and innovative sessions organised by the European Commission and energy stakeholders, these sessions focus on:
- Clean energy issues
- Highlighting new policy developments

In addition to the policy sessions, EUSEW will also feature networking opportunities during the Energy Fair and the EUSEW Awards, celebrating the people, projects, and initiatives advancing Europe’s transition to clean and sustainable energy.
During the conference, the European Youth Energy Day will invite young leaders aged 18 to 34 to share their ideas for transforming Europe into the first climate-neutral continent.
Wondering what a typical EUSEW Policy Conference looks like? Explore the programme from the previous year's edition, which featured seven plenaries, over 60 policy sessions, more than 30 stands at the Energy Fair, and the fifth edition of the European Youth Energy Day.
The EUSEW Policy Conference is held annually onsite in Brussels and online. The 20th edition of the Policy Conference will take place on 9-11 June 2026.
Attending in person offers the best opportunity to network with industry leaders. We encourage everyone to join in Brussels to fully engage in the insightful policy sessions and the Energy Fair.
Whether you are an individual, organisation, or energy expert, the EUSEW 2026 Policy Conference is an event that offers multiple ways to get involved:
- Host a session: if you have a new policy idea, an innovative technology, or a successful project to share, you can apply to host a policy session. To apply, read the guidelines and submit your proposal. We recommend beginning your application in advance, as you can edit your draft at any time.
- Attend in Brussels: the Policy Conference is open to anyone who is interested in renewable energy and energy efficiency in Europe. The conference offers opportunities to learn from experts and network with leaders.
- Participate online: the event will be hosted in a hybrid format, meaning you can attend online if you are unable to join in person. This format ensures access to many of the conference’s opportunities.
You can also apply or nominate an outstanding individual or project at the EUSEW Awards, promote clean energy and energy efficiency by hosting a Sustainable Energy Day or apply to be a Young Energy Ambassador, when the calls open.
