Description
This event, organised in the framework of the RHC-ETIP project, is part of the series of Roundtables for all European regions. The event aims to highlight the importance of decarbonising the heating and cooling sector and will bring together perspectives from Western European countries on their vision for achieving 100% Renewable Heating and Cooling (RHC) across Europe.
The discussion will highlight the different perspectives and strategies of various sectors needed to achieve this ambitious goal, while addressing the significant challenges that lie ahead.
By adopting a tailored, region-specific approach, this event seeks to identify and address barriers specific to the Western EU region, taking advantage of common climatic and social conditions. Through this targeted approach, speakers will share best practices, foster collaboration and ultimately help pave the way for a sustainable and resilient future for RHC in Europe.

ABOUT THE RHC-ETIP
Officially launched in 2010, the European Technology and Innovation Platform on Renewable Heating and Cooling (RHC-ETIP) brings together representatives from industry, academia and the public sector.
Stakeholders from the biomass, geothermal, solar thermal and heat pump sectors work on a common strategy for increasing the use of renewable energy technologies for heating and cooling.
