Description

The partners of the FlexSys project are happy to invite you to their online event on how households can be directly engaged in the Belgian flexible energy system of the future. With one year of the FlexSys project remaining, we already pitch some lessons learned from the FlexSys tests on how e.g. heat pumps and electrical vehicles can be steered in function of market signals. What are the opportunities and boundaries for households? In addition, an analysis of the FlexSys survey on the willingness of citizens to provide flexibility to the energy system brings some interesting findings. We conclude with a set of recommendations, ranging from practical advice for citizens to policy recommendations for government and grid operators.
